Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Ultara LLC ("Ultara", "we", "our", or "us"), operating under the ULTARA STUDIO brand, handles information connected with ultara.cloud, studio inquiries and services, and apps currently distributed by Ultara LLC, including Pink Belly Manatee, Bun on the Run, REMANENCE: Tape Looper, RECURRENCE, and TypeClip. Pink Belly Manatee and Bun on the Run are games; REMANENCE and RECURRENCE are music and audio recording apps; TypeClip is a plain-text editor. Apple services and other linked providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

The current App Store privacy disclosures for Pink Belly Manatee, Bun on the Run, REMANENCE: Tape Looper, RECURRENCE, and TypeClip state that the developer does not collect data through those apps. No user account, login, email address, phone number, or birthdate is required to use the apps, and no third-party analytics SDKs, session-replay tools, crash reporters, or advertising identifiers (`NSPrivacyTracking = false`) are included. These apps do not send saved progress, documents, recordings, sessions, or other app content to Ultara servers.

Pink Belly Manatee and Bun on the Run can use Apple Game Center for achievements or leaderboards. TypeClip stores plain-text documents on your device; if you choose to share a document using the system share sheet, it is sent to the app or service you select. REMANENCE and RECURRENCE request iOS Microphone permission solely to capture audio from your built-in microphone, compatible USB audio interface, or loaded Audio Unit (AUv3) instrument into your multi-track loop session. All recorded audio, undo history, session metadata, AUv3 plug-in presets, and performance preferences (`UserDefaults`) are stored locally on your device inside the app's sandboxed container; exported WAV mixes, stem archives, and ZIP backups are handed directly to the iOS share sheet or Files app under your control.

In REMANENCE, iCloud session synchronization (`iCloud.cloud.ultara.remanence`) is disabled by default and strictly opt-in. To prevent accidental cross-account merging if a device switches Apple Accounts, the app stores a local-only SHA-256 digest of your `ubiquityIdentityToken` in on-device `UserDefaults`. REMANENCE and RECURRENCE can also host third-party Audio Unit (AUv3) extensions and exchange CoreMIDI messages with endpoints you select; third-party AUv3 extensions run in their own processes under their respective developers' privacy policies. As declared in `PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy`, our iOS apps access only standard on-device system APIs (`UserDefaults` `CA92.1` for local preferences, `SystemBootTime` `35F9.1` for audio meter ballistics/tap tempo/MIDI clock timing, and `FileTimestamp` `C617.1` for ordering saved sessions). Apple processes Game Center, iCloud, App Store purchases, and related account information under its own privacy policy and your settings. Ultara does not receive your Apple account credentials or payment card information, and we do not store app content on our own servers.

The website does not use analytics trackers, session-replay scripts, advertising pixels, marketing or tracking cookies, a signup form, or online payment processing. Because no non-essential or tracking cookies are used, no tracking cookie banner is required. Hosting infrastructure may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser details, request times, and pages requested in server logs for delivery and security.

All fonts and visual assets used on this website are self-hosted directly on ultara.cloud; your browser does not connect to Google Fonts or any third-party font CDN when viewing our pages. External websites linked from our pages (such as Apple App Store listings) operate under their own privacy and cookie policies when you visit them.

If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or project information you provide. We use that information to respond, provide support, discuss or deliver a project, and maintain necessary business records. Please do not send passwords, API keys, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Our website opens your email application for support and business inquiries; it does not automatically subscribe you to a mailing list. Please do not email passwords, private recordings, or other sensitive information unless it is needed for support.

We use information to operate the website, communicate with you, provide agreed services, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Email and hosting providers may process information needed to deliver those services. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information.

We retain correspondence and project records for as long as reasonably needed for the request, service, business records, or applicable legal obligations. We do not keep copies of game progress, TypeClip documents, REMANENCE sessions, or recordings on Ultara servers. Content stored on your device or through Apple services is subject to your device settings and Apple's terms and retention practices. Reasonable safeguards cannot guarantee absolute security.

This website and business inquiry services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these channels. The apps have product-specific age ratings shown on their App Store pages. Apple's optional services, such as Game Center and iCloud, are governed by Apple's own settings and privacy practices. A parent or guardian with a privacy question can contact us at support@ultara.cloud.

You may ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold by emailing support@ultara.cloud. We may need to verify your request, and legal recordkeeping requirements may limit deletion. For information handled by Apple through iCloud, Game Center, or App Store, use Apple's privacy controls or contact Apple; we do not have access to those records. Additional rights may apply under the laws where you live.
