This Privacy Policy explains how Ultara LLC ("Ultara", "we", "our", or "us") handles information in connection with our products and website at ultara.cloud.
Summary
We collect as little data as possible. Our apps are designed to communicate directly between your device and your own servers — we do not operate any backend service that receives, stores, or processes your homelab credentials or usage data.
Information We Collect
Our apps: Ultara apps (including HomeLab Commander) do not collect personal information. All configuration data, API keys, and credentials you enter are stored locally on your device using iOS Keychain. No data is transmitted to Ultara's servers.
Our website: When you visit ultara.cloud, standard web server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising cookies.
Email notifications: If you provide your email address to be notified about an app launch, we store only your email address and use it solely to send that one notification. We use no third-party email marketing platforms that would share your data.
How We Use Information
Email addresses collected for launch notifications are used only to send that notification. We do not sell, share, or transfer your email address to any third party.
Data Storage & Security
App data is stored on your device in iOS Keychain, which is encrypted by the operating system. We have no access to it. Email addresses for launch notifications are stored securely and deleted once the notification campaign is complete.
Third-Party Services
Our apps connect to services you configure (such as Proxmox, Portainer, TrueNAS, etc.). Those connections go directly from your device to your servers — not through Ultara's infrastructure. Each third-party service has its own privacy policy.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of any personal data we hold (e.g., a launch-notification email address) by contacting us at support@ultara.cloud. We will honor such requests promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of our products after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
